About Me

A little about me and my family

My name is Sam Hood. I was born in late 1984 in Bartlesville, OK. I was blessed to be adopted into an LDS family as an infant and was sealed to my parents in the Dallas, TX temple. My parents are Sam and Harriet Hood. I have one younger sister named Sarah. She is married and has 2 children. My parents both work in the petroleum industry. My mom works as a case manager for ConocoPhillips, and my dad is an independent oil producer. I lived my whole life in Bartlesville Oklahoma and then served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Boise, ID. Upon returning from my mission in Boise, I started school at BYU Idaho and I am now majoring in Economics and minoring in CIT.

I really enjoy spending time with my family. They are very special to me. I really treasure the gospel and what it has done for me and my family.
